Jasmine Guzman provides compassionate, strengths-based and trauma-informed therapy for individuals who want to better understand their experiences, process difficult emotions, and move forward from events that continue to affect their lives. She believes everyone has a story worth being heard and works to create a safe, supportive environment where clients can openly explore both past and present experiences without judgment.

Jasmine recognizes that difficult experiences can shape how people see themselves, respond to stress, and navigate challenges in the present. Her approach helps clients identify the strengths and abilities they already possess while also recognizing areas where additional support, coping skills, or healing may be needed.

Therapy with Jasmine is highly collaborative. Rather than telling clients what their path should look like, she works alongside them to understand their individual experiences, needs, and goals. Together, they explore past and present triggers, identify patterns that may be contributing to emotional distress, and develop healthier ways of responding to future challenges.

As an EMDR-trained clinician, Jasmine incorporates Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) into her work when appropriate. EMDR can help clients process distressing or traumatic experiences that may continue to influence emotions, beliefs, behaviors, and reactions in everyday life. Jasmine uses EMDR with attention to the past experiences that shaped a client, the concerns affecting them today, and the healthier responses they want to develop moving forward.

Jasmine also incorporates inner child healing techniques when appropriate, helping clients explore earlier experiences, unmet emotional needs, and beliefs that may continue to influence how they feel about themselves or respond to difficult situations. This work can help clients develop greater self-awareness, self-compassion, and understanding of patterns that may have roots in earlier life experiences.

Her strengths-based approach emphasizes that therapy is not only about identifying what is difficult. Jasmine helps clients recognize their resilience, build upon existing strengths, and develop practical coping tools that can support them when facing emotional triggers, stress, or challenging life events.

Jasmine believes that finding your voice can be an important part of healing. She supports clients as they gain a deeper understanding of their experiences, identify what they need, and become more confident expressing themselves and making choices that support their emotional well-being.

Whether you are working through trauma, painful past experiences, emotional triggers, difficult life events, or patterns that feel hard to change, Jasmine offers a compassionate space to explore what you have experienced, strengthen your coping skills, and work toward healing and meaningful personal growth.
