Jennifer Vallejo is a Certified Neurofeedback Technician specializing in Neurofeedback services at Weber Counseling Services. She works with individuals seeking a noninvasive, brain-based approach to support goals related to emotional regulation, attention and focus, stress management, sleep, and overall mental wellness.
Jennifer is passionate about helping clients better understand the Neurofeedback process and creating an experience that feels comfortable, supportive, and approachable. She recognizes that many people are unfamiliar with Neurofeedback when they first begin and takes care to help clients know what to expect throughout their sessions.
Neurofeedback is a form of brain training that uses real-time information about brain activity to encourage healthier patterns of self-regulation. During sessions, sensors monitor brainwave activity while specialized Neurofeedback technology provides feedback to the brain. Over time, this training is intended to help the brain become more flexible and efficient in regulating its activity.
At Weber Counseling Services, Jennifer works directly with clients throughout their Neurofeedback training, providing consistent support and helping ensure sessions follow the individualized protocols established for each client. Neurofeedback may be incorporated as part of a broader mental health and wellness plan and can complement psychotherapy, medication management, or other forms of care when appropriate.
Jennifer brings more than 10 years of professional experience across administrative services, legal affairs, education, and client-centered roles. Her diverse background has strengthened her skills in communication, organization, problem-solving, and working with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
Her experience also includes working as a K–12 substitute teacher, where she supported students across different ages, learning environments, and individual needs. That experience contributes to the patience, adaptability, and calm presence she brings to her Neurofeedback work, particularly when helping children, adolescents, and families become comfortable with the process.
Jennifer earned her Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from San Diego State University and later completed specialized training to become a Certified Neurofeedback Technician. Her background in sociology provides an additional perspective on how individuals are influenced by their relationships, environments, communities, and life experiences.
Jennifer’s approach is compassionate, attentive, and client-focused. She understands that beginning a new type of treatment can come with questions and uncertainty, and she strives to create a welcoming environment where clients feel supported throughout the Neurofeedback process.
She continues to expand her education and knowledge in Neurofeedback, brain training, and mental health, with a focus on providing high-quality services and helping clients get the most from their Neurofeedback experience.
Whether you are exploring Neurofeedback for yourself or your child, Jennifer provides knowledgeable and supportive guidance throughout the training process. Her goal is to help each client feel comfortable, informed, and confident as they work toward improved self-regulation and overall well-being through Neurofeedback.
